Microsoft Office2007/2010/2013/2016 - Looking at the Ribbon (level 2) [Course 119]

One 2.5 hour class for $10

Outline

This one session course is for all members who plan to use Office 2007/2010/2013 programs. Upgraders from MS Office2003 who just want to up-skill to using "The Ribbon" will find this course useful. The old menu bar and single dimensional tool bars have gone. But do not despair, the Ribbon is GOOD! But, for members setting out to learn MS Word and Excel, this course is a pre-requisite for your Level 2 courses; #59 Word Processing Basic in Word 2007/2010 (Level 2) AND Excel Level 3. Most features of the Ribbon are common to all current MS Office programs so it is a great advantage to do this course first.

Background

We will NOT be teaching word processing or spread-sheets in this course. We will look only at the Ribbon and work mainly in MS Word 2010 or Excel2010 depending on the requirements of the class. We will take a quick look at PowerPoint and Publisher as well.

Beginners in Word Processing should first complete the two courses, Level 1 "Elementary Word Processing in Email" and this course for the Ribbon Beginners in Excel should also complete this course for the Ribbon and the Level 2 course "Word Processing Basic in Word 2007/2010/2013" and then attend the Excel Level 2 course.
